1 day of community

The Stanford Black Leadership Conference (BLC), hosted by the Black Business Student Association at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, showcases Black leadership across various industries, roles, and geographies. We aim to inspire and support attendees in understanding and defining what it means to be a Black leader in multiple spheres.

This year, under the theme Define the Next Wave, we will explore the evolving landscape of Black leadership. We will reflect on our history while charting bold new paths forward. Through dynamic fireside chats, engaging panel discussions, and thought-provoking workshops, attendees will expand their networks and gain actionable insights into how to shape the future of leadership in their respective fields.

While the conference centers on Black leadership and experiences, it is open to everyone, regardless of racial or ethnic background. We welcome all who are interested in engaging in meaningful dialogue and contributing to an inclusive, forward-thinking vision of leadership. Whether you are a student, a rising professional, or an established leader, join us for a day of conversation and connection as we shape the next wave together.

FAQs:

  • Tickets are available exclusively through Eventbrite.

  • All events will be held at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The Conference will take place at the Knight Management Center, while the Gala will be hosted at Vidalakis Dining Hall.

Paid parking is available in the Knight Management Center garage. Parking is enforced Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We have transitioned to a contactless payment process through ParkMobile, for which the Knight Management Center parking garage is zone #7207.

There are two options for payment:

    • Mobile payment: Use the ParkMobile appmobile website, or by texting PARK to 77223 to pay using a credit card. In addition to the hourly visitor parking fee, ParkMobile charges 35 cents for each transaction.

    • Pay online in advance: Visitors who do not own cell phones may consider the option to create a ParkMobile account and purchase visitor parking in advance through a computer using the ParkMobile website. Purchasing visitor parking in advance does not guarantee a space, so there is a risk that you are unable to find parking in the zone when you arrive. The payment is non-refundable.

  • All are welcome! Students, staff, faculty, and members of the broader community are invited to participate in the conference.

  • There’s no formal dress code for the conference — business casual is recommended, but feel free to wear whatever you’re comfortable in.

For the Gala, dress to impress! This special evening will honor our Black alumni community.

  • Conference tickets provide access to all keynote sessions, breakout panels, and workshops, as well as a sit-down catered lunch.

Gala tickets provide entry to the reception, dinner, and after-party.

Tickets can be purchased together or separately.
